 In 2004, I started looking for a synthetic ice surface for my sons and I to skate on in our backyard. I did extensive research and found the Super-Glide system was the right choice for us. After skating and using the product, I felt others would love to have a product like this and with energy costs rising this would be a good industry for the Future, so I started Synthetic Ice U.S.A.  

Through the years, I have learned many things about all synthetic ice companies, the most important being this concept has been around for over 30 years, but the plastic used was very poor to skate on so it never took off. This plastic is designed for the marine industry and is what all other synthetic ice companies use, which leads to an extreme amount of failures, (94% of these business fail) thus hurting the overall global synthetic ice Industry.

Super-Glide has the success it does (96% success rate) because it produces its own product designed specifically for ice-skating.  Lubricating agents are injected into the core and the density is perfect for the skating blade. Thousands of hours have been invested in research and development to produce the most advance skating surface available.
